Jesse Ellis

Board President

Jesse Ellis is an LCSW at Sweetser's Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit and Children and Family therapist since 2015.

Jesse began her development work with non-profits in 2022 and fell in love with the Coastal Children's museum when she came in to discuss sponsoring an event in partnership.

She began her journey with the board in 2023 and has continued to take on roles throughout that time culminating in her presidency.

Anne Rogers Pope-Joy

Board Member

Anne Rogers-Popejoy has worked with and for non-profits in advocacy, fundraising and education since 2005.

She got her start as a museum educator and assistant curator in Deadwood, South Dakota and is thrilled to be back in the museum sphere, supporting the good work of the Coastal Children's Museum!

Anne is the executive director at the Strand Theatre in Rockland.

Kendray Rodriguez

Board Member

Kendray Rodriguez is a mom, nonprofit leader, and community builder who believes kids learn best when they're given space to explore, create, and be curious. She serves on the RSU 13 School Board and brings a background in summer camp leadership and youth development, including experience as a camp director. Professionally, Kendray has spent much of her career helping nonprofits and community organizations grow through marketing, grant writing, fundraising, and event planning. She is passionate about creating opportunities for children and families to learn, connect, and have fun together.
